Job Description

Working as part of the eCommerce team and responsible for driving a step change in SEO performance by developing and implementing effective SEO strategies. Ensuring maximum visibility of the company’s digital assets, growing and maximising revenue opportunities across web and mobile through natural search. Responsible for ensuring that content is search-engine friendly and optimised to increase company profitability.

Requirements and Abilities

Previous experience working in a SEO role 2 years of experience in content marketing and SEO 2 years of experience in web, agency or retail environment. Consumer electronics experience is desirable Experience using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, SEMrush Hands on technical SEO experience, including crawls, internal linking best practises and redirects Strong hands on experience with link building Hands on outreach experience, including digital PR & partnerships & digital publications Excellent knowledge of on-page optimisation, content strategy and keyword research Working knowledge in various CMS tools which you will utilise, to update content and liaise with content team where relevant Digital campaign experience, and experience in user funnels and landing pages Website analytics tools such as Google Analytics, confident in analysing and reporting on data Experience in SEO tools such as SEMRush, Screaming Frog SEO and Majestic SEO Knowledge of ranking factors and search engine algorithms Commercially aware in regard to latest digital trends and best practices in online marketing Utilising HTML, CSS, and JavaScript where necessary. Liquid and foundation experience would be desirable

Responsibilities

Develop and execute successful SEO strategies to maximise search visibility, including keyword analysis, link acquisition and content distribution Focus on off-page link building & outreach strategies to maximise SEO growth Carry out off-page content and linkprofile analysis to discover vertical trends and create disavow files Research and analyse competitor advertising links, produce reports on analysis results Carry out on-page / technical SEO audits to identify and address any problems with SEO performance Perform ongoing keyword research, expansion and optimisation Review usability and accessibility to ensure an excellent experience for users and search engines. Identify technical SEO issues and recommend fixes Optimise website content and top landing pages Collect data and analysis to produce regular activity reports on traffic, rankings and other SEO aspects Work with the eCommerce team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code Work with content and marketing colleagues to drive SEO content creation and content programming that is customer journey friendly and data insight led Keep up to date with industry developments for SEO and content marketing trends
